Circa: 1990s, this reversible oversize coat; one side black the other a iridescent green (hard to tell in photos) is made to fit loose, shawl collar and dropped shoulders, 17" deep side pockets on both sides of coat, extra long bell sleeves can be turned up to a cuff. The iridescent green side fastens with a black/cream batik bone patterned spear, the other side fastens with a African mask.
(NOTE: Light white marks on sleeve AND towards bottom of black side of coat there appears to have been some repairs done, possibly to cover a rip/tear using the same trim as on pockets; (1st photo) look closely at towards the bottom; then look at pocket trim. On iridescent green side with the spear fasten, you can see the stitching from the trim being sewed on from the other side. (See last photo)
